About
I’m a freelance photographer based out of the San Francisco Bay Area who graduated from Whitman College in 2006 and is having a go at establishing his own photography business. This blog has been set up to show people where I go and how I accomplish my photos once I get there.
Since I started up my freelance practice, I was sponsored by Red Truck Wines to travel across the country for the entire month of July 2007, served as the official photographer for the Cirque du Soleil Saltimbanco Bus Tour, inadvertently created the national marketing campaign for a non-profit organization, worked with groups like the National MS Society, shot photos for local publications, and have even won a couple of awards.
I’m pretty much a self-trained photographer; I’ve never taken a class on photography after an elementary course that was launched during my senior year of high school. Starting in the Fall of 2008, though, I’ll be working on my MFA in photography at the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, CA.
